Acceptable Use Policy

Use LosslessRec for content you own or are authorized to capture—and respect access controls and consent.

This policy applies to LosslessRec, its website, downloads, licenses, support, and related services. It supplements the Terms and EULA.

Prohibited uses

  • Record, copy, distribute, or publish content without ownership, permission, license, or another lawful basis.
  • Bypass or attempt to bypass DRM, encryption, access controls, copy protection, paywalls, authentication, or security controls.
  • Remove watermarks, attribution, copyright notices, ownership information, or provenance indicators without authorization.
  • Record meetings, calls, webcams, microphones, classes, interviews, or private communications without notices and consents required by law or policy.
  • Facilitate piracy, copyright infringement, credential theft, unauthorized surveillance, stalking, harassment, extortion, fraud, impersonation, malware, or illegal access.
  • Violate a platform’s terms, contractual restrictions, privacy rights, publicity rights, confidentiality duties, or applicable law.
  • Misrepresent LosslessRec as a tool for downloading streams, decrypting protected media, or evading technical safeguards.

Your responsibility

You are responsible for determining whether a recording is lawful, obtaining permission, protecting recorded files, and responding to requests from rights holders or recorded participants. LosslessAI does not provide legal advice.

Enforcement

We may refuse support, suspend or terminate licenses or services, preserve records, or report conduct when reasonably necessary to enforce this policy, protect users or third parties, or comply with law. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

Report abuse

Report suspected infringement, unlawful recording, security abuse, or misuse to [email protected]. Include the relevant URL, product, evidence, and contact details sufficient for review.
